The Climbing Wall showcases each person and his/her abilities, as he/she receives support from fellow group members. InitiativesAges 8 and upMinimum group size: 10 Discover hidden leadership skills, learn communication strategies and define goals in this ground-level challenge course. Group members solve problems and overcome obstacles as a team, using both physical and mental energy. Customize Initiatives to fit your groups' abilities and goals. Double Zip LineAges 9 and upFly through the air down a 300 foot cable! The Double Zip Line is an exciting highlight to your group's day of discovery - You can even race down the zip line with a friend. High Ropes CourseAges 12 and upMinimum 3.5 hour program Discover and overcome fears, support one another, surprise yourselves and quite possibly take on a new role within your group–25 feet above the ground! Our challenges can be done with a partner or on one's own. Everyone can participate at the same time in groups of up to 15 people. Environmental EducationAt Hoover Y-Park, use all of your senses to answer these and other fascinating questions about the natural world around you. Choose from a variety of hands-on activities such as "Pollution Solution," "Water Wonders," "Incredible Insects" and more. Our workshops have been developed to support your curriculum. Groups of all sizes, from preschool through High School, will benefit from these activities.
